ASL Dance

About this event

ASL Dance is an inclusive, high-energy class created by a Speech-Language Pathologist that combines dance, music, and basic American Sign Language (ASL) in a fun and engaging environment. Through age-appropriate choreography, children will learn foundational ASL signs while developing rhythm, coordination, confidence, and communication skills. Rather than simply memorizing signs, participants will experience language through movement, music, and meaningful interactions, making learning both memorable and enjoyable. Each class encourages creativity, self-expression, teamwork, and body awareness while introducing children to the beauty and value of ASL as a language. Each month, we'll explore a new theme, incorporating themed songs, dances, and vocabulary that allow children to build confidence with signs through repetition and play before moving on to new concepts the following month. Perfect for children who: Love to dance and move Want to learn basic American Sign Language Enjoy music, movement, and creative expression Benefit from hands-on, interactive learning Want to build confidence, communication, and social connections in a welcoming environment Whether your child is an experienced dancer or just loves to move, ASL Dance provides a joyful space where movement becomes communication, music becomes language, and every child is encouraged to learn, express themselves, and have fun. http://TheDramaticSLP.com/ *Step Up Direct Provider
