Salsa level 1

About this event

Dance shoes with suede bottoms are required or shoe covers are available for purchase for $5 at the studio. We’ll guide you every step of the way in a fun, welcoming, and encouraging environment. Everyone begins in Level 1 if they’re new to Clermont Salsa, even if they’ve danced elsewhere. Every studio teaches a different syllabus, so we use this class to ensure everyone has the same foundation. You’ll learn the basic step, timing, partner connection, leading and following, and your first fundamental turn patterns. If you’re ready, you’ll be approved to continue directly into Salsa Level 2 immediately following the class. Our goal is to help every student progress at the pace that’s right for them while building confidence on the dance floor.
