- ➤ Veteran meteorologist Eric Burris was promoted to weekday mornings at WESH 2 News Sunrise, where he will forecast from 4:30 to 7 a.m. on WESH 2 plus from 7 to 10 a.m. on CW18, strengthening local broadcast weather coverage after years of trusted service. WESH
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Florida Fish and Wildlife officers have approved a regulated black bear season to manage growing populations starting December 6 to 28 in designated Bear Harvest Zones. Only 172 permits will be issued (with strict guidelines for bear size and safety) to balance the hunt and protect the population. Fox 35 Orlando
