Uday Kadam of Guru Indian Restaurant in Clermont honored local first responders by catering complimentary holiday meals for the Fire and Police Departments.

Local officials and staff expressed their thanks for the annual event—showing strong community support for public safety.

The Clermont Garden Club named Robin Perez’s home at 1015 Montrose St. as Yard of the Month for December — Perez moved in eight years ago and transformed her yard with plumerias, bromeliads, and a striking mix of yellow ixora bushes against purple heart plants along Montrose Street.

Cooper Memorial Library is hosting a busy December schedule with programs for all ages including LEGO Club on December 3 from 4 to 5 p.m., Club Maker on December 10 from 4 to 5 p.m., Family Movie Day on December 13 from 10 a.m. to noon, Santa visits on December 16 from 11 a.m. to noon, and a gaming club on December 17 from 4 to 5 p.m. Weekly sessions also feature Baby & Me Storytime every Monday at 11 a.m. and Toddler Storytimes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. along with ongoing book, quilting, and crafting groups.
