- ➤ Over the weekend, a crash on State Road 33 in South Lake took the lives of two South Lake High School students—17-year-old Jose Ivan and his 16-year-old girlfriend Jade—when the car lost control in a no-passing zone; two adults and two young passengers in an SUV survived, with one 6-year-old still hospitalized from a fractured lumbar.
