During November, the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller will offer free passport photos to U.S. military veterans and active duty personnel who show valid ID such as a DD 214, military ID, or veteran designation.
Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the courthouse in Tavares, the North Lake Branch in The Villages, and the South Lake Branch in Clermont.
🏥 Health
Orlando Health opened a new outpatient center at South Lake Hospital to help patients after they leave the hospital—providing follow-up exams, medication help and care coordination.
The center will link patients with no primary care provider to Orlando Health’s network and aims to reduce readmission risks.

On Friday night, the South Lake Eagles won 62—0 over Lake Minneola and improved their record to 8—1 overall while clinching the District Championship for the second year with standout plays from Malik Holman and Tre Kelly.
The team will face Leesburg next Friday at 7:00 p.m.—they are set to prepare for a challenging opponent.
