  • Clermont Main Street will host the Downtown Clermont Harvest Festival on October 25 from 10 am to 4 pm for families to enjoy fall festivities in the community—more than 100 artisan vendors, food trucks, live music and a costume contest for people and pets are planned.  South Lake Tablet
  • Noah and Bo Peep are two kittens at Lake County Animal Services available for adoption on County Road 448 in Tavares. They are about 12 and 13 weeks old and can be adopted with a 50% discount during the Life is Better With a Pet promotion this weekend.  WESH
  • Guru Indian Restaurant celebrated 11 years of serving Clermont with an evening event and a ribbon cutting by the South Lake Chamber of Commerce at 2400 S US Hwy 27, Ste. 101 while owner Uday Kadam, his wife Pam, and his team welcomed guests with food and live music. The restaurant is known for its authentic Indian cuisine and global hospitality—drawing on Uday’s experience in India and with top US firms—and it remains a favorite local spot.  South Lake Tablet

  • The Italian American Club of Central Florida is hosting the Italian Festival 'Taste of Italy' on October 11 from 11 am to 4 pm at Clermont Waterfront Park where families will enjoy live music, food vendors, and crafts. The event supports Camp Boggy Creek — Mustard Seed.  South Lake Tablet

  • A new report from moveBuddha finds that Clermont is the top suburban area in Florida for demand, with a move-in-to-out ratio of exactly 2 that ranks it 11th nationally—Americans value more space, better schools and a chance to stretch out in these areas, even though home prices are about 57% higher than usual and expected to rise.  News 6
