- ➤ Although fall officially began Monday, Central Florida continues to have warm, muggy weather on Tuesday with highs in the low 90s and a 30% chance of showers and storms this afternoon in the eastern region—rain is expected to increase later in the week. WESH
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Florida lawmakers met on Monday in Tallahassee to review proposals to lower property taxes. The House Committee discussed ideas—such as a new tax on real estate and tourism as suggested by Rep. Chamberlin—that may lead to a constitutional amendment on the November ballot. Fox 35 Orlando
