  • The Kiwanis Club of Clermont hosted its 100th Installation of Officers and Awards Banquet on September 15 at Green Valley Country Club, where Florida Governor Jeremy Riehl and Lt. Governor Barbara Breuer installed new officers including President Chuck Seaver. The event honored community members with awards (Chris Boylan received the George Hixson Award and Cadence Whitehouse earned the Oakley Seaver Award) for their dedicated service.  South Lake Tablet
  • Lake County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call on September 20th about an alligator on a resident's porch and safely captured the reptile—wildlife experts then relocated it to a safer area.  FOX 35 Orlando
