- ➤ New Beginnings of Central Florida held a dedication ceremony on August 27 to celebrate the construction of six new transitional homes—New Beginnings Village—located behind its thrift store on Citrus Tower Boulevard in Clermont. Community leaders including Mayor Tim Murray and Lake County Sheriff Peyton Grinnell toured the two-bedroom homes as the project, part of the Hand’s Up Program offering rent-free housing and support services, will be completed by October.
