- ➤ A Lake County grand jury indicted Kimberley Mills and her boyfriend Andre Walker on charges of first degree murder and aggravated child abuse in connection with the beating and death of 10 year old Xavier Williams—investigators found evidence including a 10 pound weight and copper wire used to harm him. - ➤ Deputies said they are investigating the disappearance of Nicole Griner, 45, from the Clermont area after her home was vandalized on Friday near Pine Island and Montevista roads, and she was last seen on Thursday with boyfriend Nickolis Dewitt, 33 (in an olive green diesel pick-up truck). WESH
- ➤ A home on Pine Island Road in Clermont was vandalized on Friday when an excavator was driven into it multiple times—deputies and fire rescue responded and Montevista Road remains closed for investigation. News 6
