- ➤ Florida Power & Light spokesman Jack Eble told WESH 2 that customers in Clermont should check batteries, flashlights, and backup plans to prepare for potential outages during hurricane season; the company is pre-positioning crews and strengthening its grid to restore power safely and quickly. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill on Tuesday morning in Santa Rosa Beach that removes state mandates and returns decision-making power over beach access to local governments.
