- ➤ The Clermont Garden Club held its 7th Annual Spring Garden Festival this month with over 40 vendors selling plants, handmade pottery and art—and kids enjoyed free make-and-take projects while a Lake County Master Gardener offered advice. - ➤ Kassier Murry, Educational Director of the Beta Theta Chapter of ESA, was honored when she earned third place in the Outstanding Educational Program Award for her program Good Works, Good Times, Good Friends and also received the Gold Link Certificate (for submitting six timely reports). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A Lake County startup has developed Scan ID 365, a system that sends users a sheet of four stickers with a QR code to share their medical and emergency contact details when they cannot speak. The tool was inspired by a fatal dirt-biking accident and can be used on helmets, bikes, wallets or cell phones+ users can update their information as needed. News 6
