- ➤ The South Lake Chamber of Commerce held its June Chamber Breakfast on Friday, June 20 at the Clermont City Center where top-performing individuals and teams were honored in wellness categories — Orlando Health/NTC sponsored the Wellness Challenge and keynote speaker Lance Sewell of Orlando Health South Lake Hospital shared updates on the hospital’s services and campus. The event also announced plans for a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and that the Chamber will begin managing rentals for the Clermont City Center beginning July 1. South Lake Tablet
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Lake County deputies rescued a family kayaking near Snake Creek in DeLand on Thursday night when their inflatable kayak took on water and got stuck in aquatic grass — a helicopter guided rescue boats to bring them safely to shore. FOX 35 Orlando
