- ➤ Two 17-year-olds from Deltona were arrested on weapons charges after one allegedly shot a 19-year-old in the face at High Sense Smoke Shop's parking lot on Thursday — one is charged with possessing a firearm by a minor and carrying a concealed weapon while his brother faces charges for tampering with evidence and firearm possession by a minor. - ➤ Marcos Lopez, the suspended Osceola County sheriff, appeared virtually at 9 a.m. Friday before a judge on felony racketeering charges after his arrest last Thursday and is held at Lake County Jail—he is accused of taking part in a central Florida gambling operation that generated over $21.6 million in illicit proceeds.
