Clermont's new Seventh-Day Adventist Thrift Shop opened at 498 West Montrose Street—its ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the South Lake Chamber of Commerce—and now operates summer hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Clermont will host Juneteenth: A Freedom Celebration Saturday, June 21, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Waterfront Park to mark the end of slavery and celebrate African American culture + the event will feature live entertainment, music, dance, food, drinks and a contest for children.

Clermont Caribbean Jerk Festival
