CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The Lake County deputy Bradley Link, killed in an ambush last August, and injured deputies Harold Howell and Stefano Gargano were honored Thursday night in Lady Lake when the Tunnel to Towers Foundation presented them with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Hero to Hero award—officials noted that Gargano recently returned to light duty while Howell continues to recover. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ John Graczyk, a longtime officer and U.S. Marine Corps veteran, was named chief of the Clermont Police Department on May 29—city leaders and residents gave unanimous support for his appointment. He had served as interim chief since April and will now lead the department. FOX 35 Orlando
