- ➤ Residents can watch the ancient Lyrid meteor shower continue until April 25 as meteors will streak across the night sky. The shower will peak on April 22 to 23 (with 10 to 15 meteors per hour if you choose a low-light spot) and requires no special glasses. WESH
- ➤ Sullivan’s Crossing season 4 premieres Monday, April 20 at 8 p.m. on CW18 as series star Morgan Kohan (joining from London) previews twists and crossroads that will shape the season’s storyline. WESH

- ➤ East Ridge High School student Jasmine Gaines has been awarded the $1,000 Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Scholarship for her academic excellence, leadership, and over 500 community service hours in the South Lake area.
