GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lake County issued a countywide burn ban on March 25 due to worsening drought conditions and a KBDI surge to 500 that raised wildfire risks. The ban stops burning yard debris, land clearing, recreational fires, and unauthorized piles (while permitting small cooking pits, grills, and smokers) and will lift once the index drops below 500 for five consecutive days.
