- ➤ A shopper at Publix at 1120 Bichara Boulevard in Lady Lake won $1 million from a Powerball ticket bought on March 24th — the ticket matched all but the Powerball number. - ➤ Lake County officials issued a countywide burn ban Tuesday because dry conditions increased wildfire risks — the ban, which stops burning yard debris, land clearing, recreational fires and unauthorized debris piles, will lift when the drought index drops below 500 for five consecutive days.
