- ➤ CAALC hosted a food-packing event to pack 20,000 meals for families affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica — volunteers from No Child Hungry and South Lake Presbyterian Church helped in chilly Clermont weather. - ➤ Cherrylake Inc partnered with the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation for an event in Lake County on conservation, agriculture and controlled growth. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The FDA announced a Class II recall (for missing allergen warnings) for over 6,000 cases of repackaged M&M’s distributed to 20 states including Florida, and customers with allergies are urged to discard these products. WESH
- ➤ A new study by the Scandinavian Journal of Psychology shows that love can lead to risk-taking, as Lake Mary–based counselor Shantala Boss explained on WESH 2 this morning. She urged viewers to stay grounded while Valentine's Day nears. WESH
