ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Southern Hill Farms in Clermont was covered in a light layer of ice on Feb. 1 after its irrigation system broke during frigid temperatures. Water used to protect their blueberries, strawberries, and other crops froze, forming mounds of ice. Fox 35 Orlando
- ➤ Central Florida is under an extreme cold weather warning today through Monday with lows in the upper teens and low 20s and wind chills in the teens — flurries have been reported in nearby communities like Mount Dora and Oviedo.
