Silent Reading Party

About this event

Drop in and participate in a digital detox. Bring a book or pick one up at the library and settle in for uninterrupted reading in a calm, comfortable environment. It is the perfect way to enjoy a little quiet time and recharge free from phones, texts, emails, or the never-ending to-do list. Light refreshments will be provided. Come for an hour or stay for the day. All readers and all genres are welcome. There will be opportunities throughout the day to share what you are reading or pick up new book recommendations from fellow readers. This program is part of the Tavares Public Library's Happy and Healthy Holiday series.
