EVENT - 2026 Farm Tour
Want to learn more about the history and economic importance of agriculture in Lake County? Do you enjoy spending time outdoors? You are invited to join UF/IFAS Extension for its 16thannual Farm Tour featuring agriculture in Lake County. The day starts with an orientation in the UF/IFAS Extension Office auditorium. Participants will then board a comfortable charter bus manned by knowledgeable Extension agents who will discuss each stop and answer questions while on the road. Lunch, snacks, and a goody bag are included. This popular event sells out fast. Get your tickets before they are gone!
This year’s stops include:
• Oxford Family Farms: An aquaponic/hydroponic farm
• A Natural Farm: Specializing in fruit trees and unique edible plants
• Struthers Nursery: An ornamental wholesale and retail nurser
Important:
• Lunch is provided. Indicate preference during registration.
• Meet at Extension Center Auditorium on Friday 11/20/2026 at 8:30am
• Please be advised that we will be visiting working farms, which entails walking on uneven surfaces. Closed-toed shoes are required.
