R.I.S.E. Up Osceola (formerly Learn 2 Read)

About this event

R.I.S.E. Up Osceola is a comprehensive program designed to foster early literacy among children from birth to age 4. Previously known as Learn 2 Read, the initiative aims to cultivate a love for reading in young children through interactive sessions that equip parents with effective techniques. The Parent Involvement Team from the Osceola County School District presents two sessions for infants and toddlers (ages birth to 2 years) at 9:30 am and 10:30 am. Additionally, the READ Bus—a renovated school bus resembling a mini pre-k classroom—will visit Osceola Library System branches to engage families with preschool-age children (ages 3 to 4 years) in early literacy activities, guided by trained parent liaisons. Registration is encouraged, and attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis for both sessions at 9:30 am and 10:30 am. For more information, please contact .
